Tapping positions indicator
Type WKX tap position indicator is an accessory of the motor drive unit. The indicator shall be installed on the switchboard in control room and connected to the motor drive unit mounted on the transformer with cable. The number of tap position can be watched in control room and the tap changer can be operated to raise, lower or stop by the push button on faceplate of the indicator. There are 5 varieties of this indicator: Type WKX-1 is general, only tap position indication and the push buttons to raise, lower or stop are set, the max. number of tap position is 35. In type WKX-1A,2A and WKX-1B,2B a set of component for remote control and monitor is added and can be connected to RTU, the difference of both is that the signal of tap position is the BCD code in the type WKX-1B,2B and the max. number of tap position of type WKX-1A,2A is 17, but the type WKX-1B,2B is 35. The type WKX-1,WKX-1A and WKX-1B are used for Motor Drive Unit CDF1 and DQB2, but the type WKX-2A and WKX-2B for Motor Drive Unit CDF2. The contacts for remote monitor in the tap position indicator are passive and that for remote control in RTU shall be also. |
